New boilers fitted, old ones mended, and a service once a year. We don't sell boiler cover; we text you when the next service is due.
Heating
Cold radiators, noisy pipes, a thermostat that won't listen, and the power flush that puts most of them right.
Bathrooms
Showers, baths, basins and toilets, the plumbing for a new bathroom, and the leak behind the panel.
Rewires and consumer units
A new consumer unit with surge protection, or a whole-house rewire, with the certificate when it's done. This is Jess's side of the firm.
EV chargers
A charger on the wall by the drive, supplied and fitted, and wired from your consumer unit.

A fixed call-out fee that includes the first hour, an hourly rate after that, and fixed prices for the jobs we do most. Nobody should have to ring round to find out.

Who's coming, and when, the night before.
Every booked visit gets a text the evening before: a two-hour arrival window and the name of the engineer who's coming. Ruth sends them from the office.

If we're late
We ring before the window ends, not after it.
At the door
Your engineer shows you their card, puts shoe covers on, and lays dust sheets before a floorboard comes up.
Before we start
You get the price. If the job grows once we're in, we stop and ask before we carry on.
The same day
Photos of the finished work, and the certificate where one is due, by email.

Same family. Same number. Since 1998.
Mike started Holloway Heating in 1998 with one van and the number we still answer. Jess qualified as an electrician in 2014 and joined him two years later, which is when the van got its second word.
There are seven of us now: Mike, Jess, four engineers on our own payroll and Ruth in the office. Every engineer is qualified and registered for the gas or electrical work they do.
